Ideal Electrical Supply Ideal Electrical Supply Corporation (Ideal) is a privately owned corporation established in 1991 as a full services wholesale electrical distributor for complete lines of electrical, industrial, data & telecommunications networking products, tools and safety equipment. Ideal Electric is 100% owned and operated by its founders, Cora Williams, President and Ken Rogers, Executive Vice President. The company is certified as a woman-owned and minority-owned business by a number of organizations throughout the United States including the Supplier Clearinghouse California Public Utilities Commission (VON: 61N00016) Ideal has over 16 years of direct experience in MRO type contract support. We have established long-term relationships and contracts with major utilities whose MRO support requirements are critical to the ongoing operation of services on which clients depend. These companies include utilities such as First Energy, Energy East, Baltimore Gas & Electric, Potomac Electric Power Company, Washington Gas and Verizon. The Company's fleet of vehicles operates from a 30,000 square foot warehouse where many of the items sold/distributed are inventoried. Through the use of common carriers, the Company ships products around the world. We understand mission critical requirements. Ideal is constantly working within the distribution industry to gain access to information, training and resources necessary to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction with the delivery of supplier services. Ideal is an active member of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED). Ideal's President, Ms Williams recently completed a three-year stint on the Board of Directors of NAED. She is also an active member of the Supplier Advisory Council of the Utility Purchasing Managers Group (UPMG) and the branch of Edison Electric Institute (EEI) that focuses on the utility industry. Ideal is also a member of the Equity/Electrical Distributors Network (EDN), a major purchasing group in the electrical industry. These organizations not only assist in moving forward the skill set and technology within the industry, they also serve as a valuable resource for matching suppliers with manufacturers and providing an opportunity for the realization of volume discounts by using the groups' collective buying power. Ideal has had sales growth in the last 3 years even with a slowing economy. The Corporation experienced double-digit growth in recent year sales. We expect our growth trend to continue as we expand our geographic territory and new long-term business is developed. Ideal currently has 24 full-time employees.
